FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
GROUP STRENGTH:
Class utilizes weighted bars and dumbbells for toning and strength. Every major muscle group is targeted. Level: Any
BOOT CAMP / CIRCUIT CHALLENGE:
For all skill levels, people can work at their own pace. Various stations - participants move from one to the next. Cardio sessions with toning sessions between. Level: Any
STEP MIX:
Class is half step aerobics, some floor aerobics. Participants are encouraged to take a beginning step class first. Level: ADVANCED
CARDIO CHALLENGE:
Intervals of cardio, toning, and drills for all fitness levels. Class can be very high intensity if desired, participants can work at their own pace. Level: Any
ZUMBA:
Latin dance moves (salsa, meringue, cha cha…) and music make a fun and unique cardio workout. Skill is acquired by taking the class. Level: Any
BODY BASICS:
Toning for the entire body, light cardio, stretching. Great beginning class for all ages Level: Beg.
KICK BOXING:
Cardio class made up of series of martial arts moves, toning and stretching. Level: Any
YOGA:
Class is adapted to fit participants needs. Consists of stretching, balance, toning and relaxation. Level: Any
AQUA AEROBICS:
At the Americinn pool. Cardio, toning and stretch in the pool. Level: Any
CARDIO COMBO:
Mix of kickboxing, boot camp, step and toning. Level: Any to Intermed.
PILATES:
Core strength and conditioning, stretching incorporated. Level: Any
ALL CLASSES CONSIST OF WARM UP AND STRETCH ALONG WITH DESCRIPTION ABOVE. Check schedule, not all classes offered all the time.
